A US-based non-profit promoting fair consumer treatment needed support in updating its public-facing privacy notice for compliance with global regulatory standards.
LUPCP reviewed client’s current state privacy notice and provided line-by-line recommendations, as well as high-level observations to enhance privacy notice compliance globally. The client required a manual review of their privacy notice and used this exercise as a regulatory check to ensure the organization was following the same fair consumer treatment it promotes. The organization wanted to ensure it was both “talking the talk” and “walking the walk.”
our approach
Myna worked with the client developing an approach that maximized efficiencies and provided a comprehensive review of their privacy notice.
- Myna led 2 data gathering workshops to understand client’s current pain points and future state desires for the privacy notice.
- Completed and provided line-by-line recommendations to client’s current state privacy notice.
- Provided high-level observations and general recommendations for enhancing the privacy notice and promote further maturing of the organization’s privacy program.
- Led executive summary call explaining the methodology behind the privacy notice review, as well as a walk-through of all recommendations. The call also provided the opportunity for client to ask any questions regarding the recommendations and observations.
