Background – Claudia is a director, focused on leading, managing, and operationalizing data risk compliance projects, as well as advising on building/managing privacy programs and establishing practices to maintain compliance and accountability. With over 10 years of experience, she has worked in various industries and is knowledgeable across a broad spectrum of compliance and regulatory frameworks, standards, and best practices allowing her to help organizations understand their risks and compliance obligations. Most recently, Claudia has helped clients configure and implement different supporting technologies as well as integrating with existing tools and processes. This included the automation and management of cookies compliance, data rights requests, data mapping, privacy impact assessments (PIA & DPIA), TPRM, and internal audit management. Prior to joining Myna Partners, Claudia was the Global Internal Audit Manager at a manufacturing company with a presence in the US, Europe, and Asia. She was responsible for developing and monitoring the audit plan to ensure compliance with global financial and regulatory standards. Claudia’s primary responsibility included the execution, monitoring, and reporting of the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) program and operational audits for both local and international entities. Claudia also was a manager at a consulting firm where she provided services including internal audit co-source work, operational audits, system implementations, and data governance programs. Claudia has experience across various industries including manufacturing, quick service restaurants, financial services, retail, software, advertising, and telecommunications.
Experience – With Claudia’s combined experience in regulatory compliance and consultancy she has assisted organizations to identify and manage risks as well as transform business processes, controls and data governance programs that helped elevate the organization’s environment and performance. Claudia has led numerous audits and data privacy assessments. She has also been involved with various data privacy related projects including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the U.S. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Protection Agency (CPRA), the E.U. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and PIPEDA assessments. Throughout her career, Claudia has helped organizations optimize their regulatory compliance programs.
Certifications and Education – Claudia holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, International Business and a Graduate Certificate in Accounting and Auditing. Claudia is an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and is currently obtaining her Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) accreditation.
OneTrust Certs – Claudia is a OneTrust Certified Privacy Management Professional and OneTrust Administrator. Claudia has also received expert certifications in OneTrust’s Cookies Compliance, OneTrust’s Vendor Risk Management, Targeted Data Discovery, and Data Subject Access Request.
